The Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 30 EVELYN (sail A-2) leads the fleet in the sixth Corinthian race of the season, August 30, 1902, after turning the Nyes Ledge Buoy, a run to the finish as QUAKERESS  (A-5) rounds the mark and crew on YOUNG MISS (A-1, foreground) ready the spinnaker.
