Russ Chosen for Masschusetts State House Mural Project

Russ is thrilled and honored to have been chosen to create a mural-sized painting for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State House capitol building, for installation in the Fall of 2025, commemorating the Coast Guard’s 18th century origins in the state. I will be posting often about my concept development, research, reference gathering, sketching and painting process over the next year.
