"Summer Afternoon – Edgartown"
By Russ Kramer
26" x 50" Oil on Linen, 2015
Boats crowd the harbor as people pay a leisurely visit to Edgartown light on a lazy Summer
afternoon, much as they have since 1939, when the current lighthouse, built of cast iron in 1881,
was relocated here from the Ipswitch River.
